New car rental scheme to Stelios
Consumers will soon be ready to rent a cars of different motorists from a latest scheme launched from two top online entrepreneurs.
Stelios Haji-Ioannou, founder of easyJet, and lastminute.com owner Brent Hoberman, have linked forces to operate a new car club venture.
The partners may officially release easyCar the coming year, that is charged to be a low cost solution to traditional car hire since it will grant customers to use smartphone applications in order to purchase slots on their neighbours’ cars.
Many cars that get involved will be equipped by using automated entry plus monitor systems.
Vehicle owners are able to say to customers once their car is ready and also at what cost, although easyCar will guarantee the owner if it’s hired out.
The scheme is going to be tested on London from the latest year with 1,000 vehicles.
