2011 Dodge Durango
Dodge has just surprised the entire blogosphere with the presentation of a mid-size SUV that have called Dodge Durango, a model that has been unchecked in an attempt of the mark by offering quality products at relatively low.
The first thing that catches your eye may be the usual calendar that uses the mark on all its models, somewhat softened in this version as opposed to much more angular headlights and sports. The front is completed by the two large fog set at a very low level.
If you look at the profile of the model, Dodge designers have opted for more extensive filigree preferring to maintain an air muscle with a relatively high waist that closely resemble the old U.S. brand cars.
The lateral line is complete with a huge 20-inch wheels. If we move to the back little or nothing to attract our attention except for a huge rear lights or the two exhaust outlets. On the inside, unfortunately not yet know nothing but that has been designed by the same studio responsible for the new Grand Cherokee and Chrysler 300C future.
Exploring in her womb, we find a highly rigid monocoque structure combined with a firm suspension calibration that should greatly improve the dynamics of the model.
All this new system will be available with a 3.6 V6 Pentastar 280 horses and 353 Nm of torque and, for the most demanding, with a 5.7 V8 HEMI 360 hp and 520 Nm of torque which, by way of trying to save some fuel has been equipped with a system of variable valve timing as well as a Multi-displacement System disconnecting cylinders.
