2012 Model Hyundai Elantra
The Elantra is Hyundai’s compact sedan, with almost 20 years on the market, each generation to give a huge surprise jump in quality, performance and design. The Model 2011/2012, we’ve hunted in the U.S., will be the most make a difference in these respects.
To date, Hyundai has not provided any data on the new Elantra, but unofficially we know some things. First, and as evidence in the spy shots, its design is quite modern and will the picture established in the 2011 Sonata, ie with a very European feel and a four-door coupe trend.
In addition, the 2012 Hyundai Elantra, which is apparently well advanced in its development, will be considerably larger than the current (slightly longer and wider than a Toyota Corolla). According to our sources, the Elantra is being developed in Alabama, USA (such as the Sonata), and that’s why this sedan is not going to Europe because there is the i30.
Regarding engines, we could expect the same engines that carried the brand new Kia Forte: ie, a 2.0 liter 159 HP and up to 2.4 of 178 hp on manual gearboxes 5 or 6-speed automatic or 4 or 5-speed . Gradually we will learn more to this model, for now, look closely at the spy shots.
